Hi there! My name is Sheraya. Thanks for being here!
I live next door.
My home is a 137 year-old-Victorian that is protected on the National Historic Registry, so it’s no surprise I care about preserving Centerville’s charm for the long run.

When I decided to settle in Centerville, I did so because of its preservation of history and small-town community. From the moment I saw the character in this home and community, and heard the chickens and goats next door, I knew this is where I want to raise my family and I want to create sustainable ways to bring growth to our city.
By choosing to build my life here at the Mills-Hancock Victorian, I chose to become a steward of the roots of this community.

It’s about the long-term Value not about short-term Profits.
The proposal to put multi-unit stock-designed fast-builds and tear down history to do it is short-sighted for the whole neighborhood, not just my home.

I can’t help but think about images like this, and wonder what a precedent it sets for the larger agriculture farmland in the vicinity.
When I’m not organizing overnight with my neighbors to protect our community, I am a passionate pursuer of plants, projects, and playing with my pup, Ruth. I believe we all have more impact on the world around us than we really know.

If you have any questions about the Garlock Rezone or if I can be of assistance, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
